I purchased 2 queen Luna mattress protectors and pillow protectors 6 months ago and wanted to post a review based on my experience. Both my daughter and I have allergies to dust mites and were told by my neighbor that Luna mattress protectors may help. One of the mattresses was 17" thick so we weren't sure how well it would fit, but it easily covered the mattress nicely. The material is very high quality and washes easily. After about a week we could actually tell a difference in our allergies from before and after we applied the mattress and pillow protectors. One added bonus of the product was when our dog had an accident on the mattress. We were amazed to discover that nothing got through the cover, which was a great relief! This mattress protector has exceeded all of my expectations and I would recommend this to anyone!

After a bad incident with my cat I was wary of cheap protectors that aren't waterproof.
When I got these I tested them under a faucet and they are actually waterproof. The terry cloth on top is soft and pleasant, the protector doesn't crackle and otherwise feels pretty high quality.
The only problem is that it only protects the top of the mattress. On the bright side, it slips on and off like a fitted sheet.

I've been on the hunt for a breathable waterproof mattress cover since buying a mattress last year that required us to mortgage our firstborn. Any kind of fluid whatsoever voids the 20-year warranty. After trying several covers, I'm starting to wonder if "breathable" and "waterproof" are mutually exclusive.
I was initially pleased by the cover. It has high-quality stretchy sides that allowed it to easily cover our extra-deep queen-size mattress. It handled the washer and dryer just fine, which boded well for its durability.
But I've finally come to admit that I just can't sleep with it anymore, as I wake up continually through the night sweating like I've been running a marathon. I don't typically have problems like that, but both my husband and I wake drenched. As a Vacation Rental owner I need additional beds to accommodate large groups. Having a leaky air mattress deflate on a guest would be a nightmare for me. Having all ages of guests it is important that the mattresses be double high or 22" or about. Who wants to be inches off the floor? My requirements are; comfort, durability, ease of inflating and deflating, ease for user to control firmness and support, and storage. I have tried all of the air mattresses on the market, from inexpensive to high dollar, with and without built in pumps, low to high profiles. Before double high mattresses where on the market I would stack two mattresses on top of each other, well it was comfortable it had a tendency to walk off each other. Mattresses without built-in pumps would somehow need the adaptor that wasn't put back in my pump bag. If the pump was exposed my over zealous tenants would inevitably take it off to deflate the mattress and parts would often get lost or broken. I have enough... Read more

I originally bought this bed as a "quick fix" as I was moving into a new apartment. After the first few nights of using it, I was impressed enough to delay my plans to purchase a real bed. Unfortunately, I noticed that it had started to develop small leaks after using it continuously for three years. Patching it up worked at first, but six months later, another small leak developed and I knew it was time to replace it.
Having struck gold once, I bought a similar air bed at from a different company. It was okay but after one night on it, I decided that I need to patch up the old bed one last time until I order a replacement for it. The soft mattress top on my Rising Comfort really makes a difference, the other one was just an air bed. I'm ordering another ASAP, but I'm deciding on which model to purchase.
I don't expect that very many people would be looking to purchase this as their main bed. But I would recommend it for whatever purpose it is needed... Read more

We love this air bed! It is tall enough you don't have to struggle to get in and out of bed. Our last air bed was too low to the ground, it was so hard to get up and down. The built on air pump is great too, it is so easy to add more air or release air and the cord fits into a nice little compartment. We had no problem using a fitted sheet on it either :) It is really comfortable and so easy to use. Inflating and deflating is fast and simple. And the best part is that it fits into the drawstring bag (included) making it very portable and easy to store away. Only recommendation is to buy a foam pad, because if its cold then the air in the bed is cold and then its impossible to stay warm.

I bought this mattress as a replacement of an older 2-in-1 mattress that my toddler used from birth (a Sealy from Babies R Us). When it came time to purchase a new one, the Sealys were all sold out on Amazon, so I picked out this model as a "next-best" without remembering exactly how much I spent on the previous one. The price seemed a little steep, but once I saw how much comparable models go for in stores, I felt a little better.
It isn't as heavy as the previous mattress, and is actually a bit softer in the springs. I am not sure what the coil count is for the other mattress. I couldn't really detect any major difference in "bounce" from the infant to toddler side for either mattress.

I got this mattress to match my Emily crib, figuring if I ordered the two products from the same manufacturer, there won't be any guess work with sizing issues (I read some reviews in which the mattress didn't fit the crib and didn't want to run into that problem). BUT...after about a month of using the crib, I noticed one day that there was a GAP between this mattress and my Emily crib, about a 1.5 inch gap if you pushed the mattress to either the right or left! I had to stick 3 rolled up receiving blankets in the gap so as to make the crib safer. I contacted Million Dollar Baby and submitted to them copies of pictures illustrating the gap and they're sending me a new crib altogether. I don't know if its the mattress or the crib not fitting. There should not be a gap. Besides the gap, the mattress seems to have "memorized" my son's body as there's a slight dent in the mattress where he sleeps. I'm not sure if that's normal or not.
